Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

We try to anticipate questions you might have about how we do things and the service we provide.  Listed below are some frequently asked questions and their answers.

If you need additional information send email to concessionworkers@yahoo.com or concessionworkers@gmail.com

1.

Is this an hourly wage position?

Most of our events are paid hourly with the exception of stadium venues.  The hourly wage varies from event to event.

2.

How do I become TABC certified?

There are several options to become certified to sell alcohol in the State of Texas.  First, you must be at least 18 years of age to become certified.  Next, you must complete TABC certification training and pass the final test.  The test is easy but does require about an hour or so of your time.  There are several websites that offer this service.  You can do a google search.  Some that we recommend are www.tabcpermit.com, www.tabconthefly.com and www.learn2serve.com.   The online course is approximately $10.95 in cost and your certification is then good for 2 years.   Please see TABC Information page on our website for the links to the online courses.

4.

How old do I have to be to work?

We must be at least 16 years of age to work in a food only environment.  You must be 18 and have your TABC to work any event with alcohol sold.

5.

What if I can't be present for the entire event?

The hours are scheduled and you must be available and present for the entire event unless you receive permission prior to event day.  We MUST be notified in advance (preferably at time of confirmation) if you would need to leave early.

6.

What kind of workers do you offer to your clients?

We offer energetic, hard working individuals.  We pride ourselves on delivering individuals who are dedicated to exceptional service and quality in doing their work.
